Bro. Bill surrendered to the Gospel ministry in 1997, while employed as a marketing management professional with Yamaha Motor Corporation. His responsibilities with Yamaha included traveling all over the U.S. working with national sporting celebrities, contract negotiations and management, public relations and mediations, and national and regional corporate advertising and marketing campaigns. In spite of having a "dream job", Bro Bill felt the call to vocational pastoral ministry and, after running from God for six years, surrendered to this call, leaving behind the corporate world.
Upon his surrender to the ministry, Bro. Bill began seminary studies and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling and a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia (Atlanta), GA. He has pastored in Georgia, New Mexico, and now “back home” at Crossroads Baptist in Estill Springs, Tennessee. He has a heart for lost souls and strengthening churches. He is an ordained deacon and a licensed and ordained minister, receiving ministry ordination from First Baptist Church in Estill Springs, TN.
Bro. Bill preaches and teaches the Bible in a verse by verse manner and is passionate about God’s Word and the life-changing transformation that is possible to those who would place their faith in Jesus Christ and commit to spiritual maturity.
Bro. Bill has been married for 30 years to his high school sweetheart. They have 4 children – ages 28, 26, 22, and 6! (That's right - 6!).
